When it happens
Section titled “When it happens”A rate limit was reached. The Retry-After header says how many seconds to wait.
- Backend API: each secret key may make 1,000 requests per minute.
- Frontend API: sign-in and sign-up steps, emails, account changes, invitations and session tokens are limited per IP address, identifier, email address, user or session. A new email code can be requested once every 30 seconds.
- Dashboard: some actions, such as sending workspace invitations or checking a domain, are limited.
What to do
Section titled “What to do”Wait for Retry-After seconds, then retry. On your server, back off instead of retrying at once, and spread bulk jobs
over time. @zautha/js gives the wait as retryAfterSeconds, Zautha.AspNetCore as RetryAfter.
